Parents’ Phonics Workshop

On Wednesday 27^th January we will be hosting a workshop for F2, F3 and Y1 parents to further develop parents’ understanding of phonics.  The workshop will begin at 8:00am and run for approximately 30 minutes in the Multi-purpose room. 

 The aims of the workshop are;

·         Parents to learn the correct pronunciation of individual letter sounds, moving to medial vowels.

·         Parents to learn strategies of how to use phonics when reading and writing with children at home.

·         Parents to develop confidence in talking about and using phonics when working with children at home.
